Dear Members,
For Zirakpur project construction of dwelling units is in progress. This project was reopened for booking from 15-07-2010 to 30-11-2010. Very good response has been received and all type-II units have already been booked. Vacancies are now available in Type-III and IV units only for which the scheme for members, their blood relations and outsiders has been opened again from 08-11-2011 to 09-01-2012.
Building plans for Meerut Project have since been approved by Meerut Development Authority. Tenders have been finalised. Construction of dwelling units is in full swing.
For Bengaluru Housing Scheme, about 20 Acre of land has been purchased after conversion of land use to "residential" and got registered in the name of IRWO. Papers have been submitted to Bengaluru Development Authority for deletion of the land from acquisition by BDA. The matter is being persued with BDA continously.
For Vasundhara Project handling over of type II, III and IV dwelling units is nearly completed.
Efforts are being made to procure land or alternatively purchase flats on turnkey basis along with procurement of land for new Housing Schemes in NCR and other areas. Demand survey for Noida Extension which evoked a good response was opened again for fresh application or withdrawal without penalty from the scheme upto 2-9-2011. 47 members have withdrawn their applications while 154 members have joined the survey. Total 810 applications have been received in the survey. IRWO is to go ahead with the tendering process for procuring flats at Noida Extension on turn-key basis after the present issue about acquisition of land in the area is cleared. Meanwhile, Land Committee of IRWO has visited Faridabad, Gurgaon in NCR, Varanasi, Kota and Jabalpur to select the plots of land and houses for purchase for IRWO Housing Schemes.
IRWO's website has been completely redesigned and made user-friendly. Most information that a member or an allottee may require is available on the website. Members are requested to visit the Website and give suggestions for further improvement.
